1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. This platform is designed for official emergency reporting and information dissemination within the Municipality of Ramon, Isabela.

2. User Eligibility and Registration

Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process (Full Name, Contact Number, and Barangay).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Only one account per individual is permitted.

3. Proper Use of the Reporting System

Truthful Reporting: Users must only submit reports that are true and observed firsthand.

Prohibited Acts: Submitting false reports, "prank" emergencies, or misleading information is strictly prohibited.

Liability: Users who intentionally submit fake reports may be subject to local ordinances or legal action for wasting government resources and causing public alarm.

4. Data Privacy and Security (RA 10173)

Collection: We collect personal data (Name, Barangay, Geolocation) solely for the purpose of verifying emergency reports and facilitating rescue operations.

Storage: Your data is stored in a secure database and will not be shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Verification: By submitting a report, you grant the LDRRMO and Barangay officials the right to view your contact details to verify the incident.

5. Limitation of Liability

While Ramon Connect strives to provide real-time data, the system relies on internet connectivity and user input. The Municipality of Ramon is not liable for delays caused by service provider outages or hardware failures during catastrophic events.

This portal is a supplementary tool and should not be the only method used to seek help during life-threatening situations.

6. Content Ownership

Any photos or descriptions uploaded to the portal become the property of the system for documentation and assessment purposes.

7. Termination of Account

The System Administrator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, specifically those found submitting fraudulent data.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the portal after changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
